Each student will learn the fundamentals of each lift and build technique. They will follow a customized plan to create a baseline of strength and goals to reach while in the program.
Fitness Factor
Powerlifting does burn lots of calories. However, it strengthens muscles and bones, which is important for good health and overall fitness.
Time Commitment
1-1.5 hours per training session 3 days minimum and must adhere to code of conduct requirements.
Potential for Injury
Powerlifting is not a contact sport, so traumatic injuries are less common. During training spotters and loaders are on hand to keep lifters safe. Overuse injuries are more typical (than traumatic injuries)
